Erie, PA – EPM Corporation received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise today by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). WBENC’s national standard of certification is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.

EPM Corporation, founded in 1970, is a manufacturer of membrane switches, touch screens, electronic assemblies, product identification, labels, decals, nameplates, overlays, and graphic design. A family business, Deborah E. Miller took the helm in January of 2004.

Quality is the key to long term success in all production facilities. At EPM every member of the EPM staff is trained to understand and execute on-line process quality. Quality procedures are developed based on the demand of the project. Each job is issued specific quality procedures that are performed at various stages to ensure process quality and eliminate costly value added waste. In follow up to the on-line quality initiative all product is exposed to final quality inspection and testing. Every part going through our facility receives this inspection.
